Sorry I couldn't figure out how to get the pictures how I wanted! Oh well!

Hailee is getting big.......like a real kid! I don't know how I really feel about this. I mean she is my first and it is just so crazy watching her grow and learn. I love it but I hate it! I want to freeze time and keep as she is right now! Well I know that wont happen, so I am going to try and blog a little better so I can always remember my two crazy kiddos at these wonderful stages in their lives!!!

Hailee started a cute little pee wee soccer league yesterday and she did so good! She was very concentrated and was really trying hard. I think she was the only kid that didn't use her hands once! That's probably because Scott and I drilled "don't use your hand!" into her head yesterday before practice. Well it worked! We are really excited for the rest of the season!

Jeffry, what do I say about Jeffry? He is hilarious, crazy, intense and just so stinking cute! He still really loves baseball and still sleeps with all his baseball gear! I felt so bad at Hailee's practice because he just wanted to be out there so bad! I can't wait until he is three and we can start putting him in things as well. He is really starting to talk well and I can understand him most of the time! I love when he says "mama wook!" when he wants me to check something out! It is adorable! Jeff loves his big sister and wants her to play with him ALL the time. She is pretty good about playing with him as well, they love each other and that makes me happy. (although their playing turns into fighting most of the time!) I love these two kids and feel so blessed to be their mother!

Scott and I are going to Florida on Sunday for a six day vacation! I am soooooo excited and can not wait! Scott's mom and my mom are going to watch the kids for us while we are gone and we are so grateful! Scott won this trip through work which makes it even better because it is free!! It is perfect timing as well because our sixth anniversary is next month so this is how we are celebrating! I am so excited! Hopefully we will have some great pictures to share when we get back!

It's Been Awhile!

So it has been a really long time since I have blogged and a lot has happened since my last post! First of all my little guy turned TWO years old! Which is so crazy! Here are a few pictures of him unwrapping some of his Birthday presents!.

And here he is with his Papa Jeff and his awesome baseball cake Grandma Booth made for him, which he LOVED so much! Now when ever he hears that it is someones birthday he says "baseball cake?" So cute!

It really turned out so cute! Thanks Grandma!

On Jeff's birthday we actually moved out of my parents house and back out to Rancho.........it is good to have our own place, however, it was an adjustment after living with them for a year and a half.....I got really spoiled with having people around me constantly! I don't like to be alone so it was really nice! These next pictures are of the kiddos at my paretns house. I went to check on them one night before I went to bed and had to take pictures of them !

Hailee climbed out of bed and got her Makayla dollie to sleep with.........such a girl!!

And this is what Jeff sleeps with every night! If you look close his hand is actually in the glove!.........such a boy! (disregard the fact that he is sleeping with Hailee's Princess blanket......I made him his own baseball blanket for his birthday!)

With the move and the Holidays it was pretty crazy.......now things are calming down and we are adjusting well to the new place.........so hopelfully I will be a better blogger! Probably not though!

Hailee is now 4 years old! That still seems so werid to me! I just can't believe she is getting so old.......so fun and so sad at the same time! Anyways, we had a little Birthday party for her and it was a lot of fun!

We had a Princess crown Pinata! Which cousin Tyson busted open with one swing!

They all decorated their own candy bags and had a blast putting the candy in them! Hailee got a ton of great presents and was in Heaven! It really was a great Birthday party and I am really glad that we did it! It was very simple and kind of thrown together but I think everyone had a great time! Thanks Janet for letting us use your home!

This last picture is of Hailee on her actual Birthday, in the Birthday outfit I bought her! My mom took us out to the Grove in Los Angeles where Hailee got to pick out a look a like American Girl Doll! She named her Makayla and she LOVES it! This is the only picture I got! Sadly, my camera died before I got more! Hailee really is loved! She is such a special girl and I feel so blessed to be her mother! I love you Hailee Rae!

Random Adventures!

So this is just a post of Random pictures that have been taken over the last month or so. The first couple are from this really cool park called Whitter Narrows Park. It is such a fun place! There are a bunch of little lakes and then some man made stream for the kids to play in...........super fun on a hot day! As you can tell the kids enjoyed themselves!

Hailee was being such a character! I swear she gets all her goofiness from her father!

These pictures are from the train at Victoria Gardens. Jeff loves it! Now everytime we go there he has to go on the train, its not too expensive so that is ok!

This Picture of Hailee was taken today on her first day of Preschool! This is her second year at preschool and she loves it! She is so funny she wanted to make sure that I was going to drop her off, she did not want me to stay with her at school! I was a little offended! But I think it's better then her crying because she doesn't want me to leave. So I guess it is a good thing, I am glad she likes it.

And last is a picture of Jeff on our friend Ethan Allred's bike! I thought it was so cute! He climbed up there all by himself and then Carol Ann put the helmet on him......as you can tell he thought he looked pretty cool! Love that boy!

So I took the kids to get their pictures taken at JC Penny's because Jeffry just turned 18 months. This is the only cute picture we got of them together! After about 3 or 4 shots the lady's camera broke! We waited around for 45 mins. and by the time it was fixed Jeff was just done! I was a pretty bummed!

I tried hoping in the picture to see if Jeffry would sit with me, as you could see he wouldn't even do that! But I thought this one turned out pretty cute anyway, love that girl!

And this goofy one is pretty cute too! the little stinker! Of course he was half way decent when we brought out the basketball but not good enough to get a really good shot of him.

Hailee was very cooperative, good thing because I would have gone nuts if she was a stinker too! I don't know why I always think taking pictures is going to be fun! Because it is always just stressful! O well!

Norco with Grandpa Jeff!

Even though my dad no longer is the City Manager of Norco, every once in a while we go out there to check out the animals. The kids really enjoyed themselves!

Well Jeffry really only liked them if you were standing far away from them.

And Hailee was pretty darn scared of them too!

But we still had a good time!

Funny Girl!

Ok so this picture is from my little brothers wedding two months ago and has nothing to do with this post but is soooo cute so I had to put it up! I figured since I posted about my little Jeffers last time that I would do a little post about my Hailee Rae! This girl just gets cuter and cuter everyday and I cannot believe how big she is getting! I love it and hate it! I want her to stay my sweet little girl forever! But it really is such a joy to watch her grow up! Anways, on to my story.

Hailee is a very girlie girl and is basically scared of everything!! With that in mind I will share a little conversation Hailee and I had at church a few weeks ago.

We were sitting in Sacrament meeting when the speaker said something about the Holy Ghost.

HAILEE: (with a very terrified look on her face) "Mommy I don't want to see the Holy Ghost!" (repeated several times)

ME: (trying not to laugh) "Hailee you are not going to see the Holy Ghost, plus he is our friend and helps us choose the right." (I can tell I am not getting through to her)

HAILEE:( drawing) "Mommy I will draw a picture of the Holy Ghost." (she draws a big blob)

ME: ( still trying not to laugh): "Ok"

HAILEE: (very serious) "Mommy the Holy Ghost has three eyes?"

ME: (REALLY trying not to laugh) "No honey He has two eyes, like us."

HAILEE: (still very serious) " I will give him three eyes."

So there you have it my three year old is TERRIFIED of the Holy Ghost!! I just hope she gets over it by the time she turns eight or we are in trouble! Got to love that girl!

So this is a common occurrance around the house these days........Jeffry seems to like making huge messes with things like chocolate chips, cheerios, rice crispy etc. They are really fun messes to clean up!! Put child locks on the doors you say, well for those of you who don't know we live with my parents right now because Scott opened up his own insurance agency. And my mom doesn't really want to put locks on her doors........so there you have it, this is what my days consist of! But isn't he soooooooooo cute!? it makes it ok!

Update on the kids

My sister-in-law's sister-in-law (did you catch that?) took these really cute pictures of the kids. So I thought I would post them and catch you all up on what is going on with my crazy kids! I can't really get this thing to post the pictures the way I want just so you know!

Hailee turned three in October. She just started preschool today and had a great time! Hailee is a very girly girl! She loves all things princess and pink! She loves to have her nails painted and loves to paint anyone else nails that will let her. Hailee also attends a dance class twice a week and really likes it. Like I said she is a very girly girl! She makes us laugh everyday with her spunky goofy personality and really is a very sweet girl. Just the other day we were sitting together and she said to me: "Mommy I love you" and I said "I love you too Hailee". She then said: "Mommy..........I love you again!" It was very cute and made my day! I just hope that in ten years she will be saying the same thing!

Now On to Jeffry! Oh my wild man! He is a handful!! But I think he is sooo stinking cute, so all the choas he brings is ok! Jeffry just turned one in December, but has been walking since he was nine months old. He loves to play with any ball he can get his hands onto! He throws them all over the house. It is so funny becasue Hailee is such a girl and Jeffry is such a boy. The difference between the two is so funny! Jeffry can't say two much yet but he does say ball and mama, very cute. Scott calls him a big dumb jock! How sad huh? I always tell Jeffry he is smart though, so hopefully he listens to me! We are working on Jeffry sleeping through the night, which hopefully he will do consistenly soon! He really is just a little ball of energy but I love him and can't imagine life without him! p.s. I love his pumpkin teeth in that picture, they crack me up!

I feel so blessed to have such wonderful and beautiful children!

Hailee had her second dance recital the other day. Grandma Heaton pays for Hailee to go to Cutting Edge the same studio as Hailee's auntie Ashely! It was so cute and Hailee did really well, the girl loves to dance! We all know she didn't get this from me, must be a Heaton thing! Anyways, it was a two day recital and she wanted to do it a third night! This is the only picture I have, but grandma Heaton took lots more so I need to grab those from her too because this picture doesn't really show how cute Hailee's costume was! It was a great little dance and we can't wait to watch at the next recital! Thanks so much Janet!

Now on to the 4th! We had a great day! We went to the La Verne parade, like always, and it didn't disappoint! It is so much fun for the kids and it is always great to talk to people you haven't seen in awhile! After the parade we went to Scott's parents house for lunch. It was lots of fun just hanging out and letting the kiddos run around! Later that night we went to Rosemead with my parents for a firework show. Rosemead you ask? Yes, it is where my father is working these days, no more Norco! Anyways, they had a little carnival set up at a park and Hailee had a blast riding on all the rides and playing on the playground! She wasn't too impressed with the fireworks though and Jeffry wasn't either, so we cut out a little early to avoid the traffic, good thing we did because there were a LOT of people there! All in all it was a great day!

So Hailee had her first dance recital tonight and it was a blast! I have to say she is quite the little performer!! I was afraid that she would freeze on the stage when she saw all the people, but she actually did better tonight then she did in practice so that was good! Anyways there are just a couple of pictures of her and her little friends in there cute costumes (which we made ourselves!) So cute! And of Course I can't post without putting a picture of my sweet boy, so the last one is just a funny picture of Jeffry asleep on my mom's couch with his feet propped up a pillow! it was so funny!

So I know I haven't posted in a long time, I've just been lazy! So anyways, for the last week or so I have been potty training Hailee and she has done surprisingly well! I think in a couple weeks or so she will be a pro!! I am really glad I waited until she was 2 and half because she understand so much more now, even the bribes! I am so proud of her and can't believe my little girl is not so little anymore!

Last Friday we took the kids to the Dodger game we had so much fun! I forgot my camera but we took some pictures of the kids at my parent's house before we left. They both looked so cute in their little Dodger shirts! It's Scott dream come true to have his little Dodger family! Hailee had a blast she was rocking out to the music and asking who everyone was when they came up to bat it was so funny! Oh and she also was calling Manny Ramirez "handy manny"! You know from the disney channel. Too funny! We had a really good time and our little Jeffry did not even cry once!

Now on to Jeffry. He turned four months on Saturday, I can't believe it!! It goes by way too fast! He is such an angel baby! He smiles all the time and rarely cries! Isn't that such a cute picture with him and his uncle Ryan? I love it! I don't know how I keep get so lucky with these really good babies, but I am really happy about it! He is such a chunker too, well compared to Hailee which isn't saying much, but I love it! I am so glad I have my little boy I can't imagine my life with out him!

The Happiest Place on Eartth!

Last week we took Hailee and Jeffry to Disneyland, unlike a lot of moms out here I do not have a Disneyland pass so this was really exciting for the kids and me! ( Well I guess it wasn't too exciting for Jeffry!) My mom came with us and made it extra special for Hailee by standing in line for TWO hours so that Hailee could meet the Princesses. While we went on rides! What a wonderful Grandma!! Hailee was pretty star struck and a little shy, but could not stop talking about them after, she also got their autographs! And we had to buy her a little Sleeping Beauty dress so that she could look like a Princess herself! We listen to a Disney sound track in the car so Hailee loves all of the disney characters and especially Jasmine, Areil, Bell and Cinderella, so we were really excited when we got to meet three of the four! She also loved the Carosel(which she went on three times) and Small World. She did not like Priates, don't ask me what we were thinking taking her on that ride, I guess we thought it wasn't as scary as it actually is! Even though it was pretty crowded we had a great time. Jeffry was an angel and the weather was great, so all in all we had an amazing day! Hope you enjoy the pictures!

So for those of you who don't know our little Jeffry Shaw was born on Dec. 18th at 6:31 a.m. He weighed in at 8lbs 7ounces!! And he was two weeks early!! can you imagine if he went full term!! He would have been massive!! Anyways, he is too cute and we love having him around. Hailee wasn't too sure about him at first but now she likes him, I even caught her "reading" him a book today! Too cute! Unfortunately our camera is still not working so no pictures right now. I am going over to my mom's house tomorrow though so I will post some pictures of him then. So, ok I have not been to good at this whole blogging thing I know! I do have an excuse though our camera is not working and I hate blogging without pictures!! We haven't been doing anything too exciting around here anyways. Thanksgiving was unfortunately a bummer, Hailee and I both had the barfs!! I know what a good day to get it right! And now I am just waiting to go into labor!! I am so done and just want to hold my sweet little boy! Heidi, being the nice sister that she is, threw me a baby shower last week and it was great! (no pictures though sorry). Jeffry got a whole bunch of cute things that I can't wait to put on him! Since my camera isn't working I have been using my mom's and took so belly shots, so I will put that up really soon, however my belly is already bigger!! Oh well! So sorry for such a lame post, hopefully in a couple of weeks we will have a working camera and a cute new addition to the family to blog about!

The first picture is of Hailee on Halloween night. We just got her 2 year old pictures taken the day before and that is one of the poses they had her do. Now every time I get the camera out she strikes that pose!! So funny! The last two picture are from our ward trunk-or-treat. It was really fun and she had a blast dancing around! It was a good Halloween, so much more fun then last year because she actually understood what was going on! I can't believe next year we will have two kids!!! SCARY!!

So Scott is an editor for his school newspaper, well last week a group contacted him about putting a vote NO article in his section of the newspaper. Scott polietly declined and thought it was then end of it. Well this group went to his Executive editor and told her what happened. Anyways, she told this group that there would be an article on voting NO, in Scott's section of the paper. So when Scott found out what happened he told his executive editor that he was going to write a rebutle peice on why we should vote YES. Anyways I think it turned out really well. He took a different stance on the issue, in hopes of persuading his fellow classmates. I Have A Two Year Old!! And A Big Belly!

So Hailee turned two yesterday!! I can't believe it! I remember when I just had her and could not imagine having a two year old, now I can't imagine having a newborn!! Here is a little photo shoot of Hailee in her Birthday outfit.

She hit the jack pot in presents this year. Scott and I got her a little tricycle, some clothes, a charm bracelet and some sidewalk chalk. Grandma and Grandpa Allred got her a doll house, a little pink lawn mower and a cute pink Doodle Pro. Grandma and Grandpa Heaton took her to build a bear and let her make the cutest little bear and Great Grandma Booth made her a really cute/yummy cake and got her a darling little outfit! She has a lot of people who love her! We still need to have a little Birthday party with some of her friends but we are in the processes of moving right now, so it might have to wait a little bit. Anyways I am so grateful for Hailee and sweet spirit she brings into my life. I love being her mother so much and think she is the cutest, smartest and funniest TWO year old ever!! I love you Hailee!!

On a Side note here is a picture of my growing belly with baby #2. I am about 26 weeks here.

We found out on Monday what our little baby is! I haven't posted yet because I have been too busy reading Breaking Dawn!!! (best book ever!) But I am excited to announce that we are having a BOY!!!! Yay, we are both so excited and cannot wait to see what the little guy looks like! Oh yea and they moved my due date from Jan. 4th to Dec. 30th so that was cool too!

Boy or Girl? So a week from today we find out what our little baby is!!! We are so excited and can't wait! With Hailee I kind of had a feeling it was a girl, but with this one I have no clue!! So it is going to be so much fun!

We would like to see what you think it is, so take a guess! We are pretty set on names either way but would love to hear suggestions as well.

The 4th of July!

Here are some pictures of Hailee at Grandma and Grandpa Allred's house right before the LaVerne parade. She loved the parade and was really cute the whole time. Scott and I had fun watching her and talking with family and friends.

After the parade we went to Scott's parent's house for a bbq. It was really fun we had really good food and just hung it. After we ate auntie Jen took Hailee and her cousin, Evan, outside to play in the Heaton's little waterfall. They were so cute and loved the water! They are lucky they have an auntie like Jen who LOVES to play with them! Here are some pics of them! Too cute

Anyway, after the bbq we picked up my mom and went to the fireworks. We ended up watching them with the Mcgraths, their cousins and kurt. It was a really great day! Hope you had a great 4th as well!

So this picture of Hailee is a little over a month old. However, the mess on the rocking chair is an often occurance around here. One thing Hailee loves to do is take out everything from her drawers and throw it around her room! She knew she was in trouble when she saw me, hence the "oh no" look on her face! She is too funny!

Some Big News!

So, I think a lot of people already know but, we are expecting!! We are so excited to be expanding our family, and can't wait for Jan. Yeah, that right Jan.!! I am only six weeks along but I am sicker than a dog!! It is really weird too, I get sick in the middle of the night! So if any of you have any idea on how to help my "night" sickness please leave your suggestions! It is horrible because with Hailee I had it pretty much all day, however I felt much better if I had something in my stomach. This time I don't really feel like eating at two a.m.! So I end up even worse! Please help!! I know I am a complainer, but really I am very excited! Scott is too, Hailee does not understand yet, but she will. She loves babies so hopefully having one around all the time will go over well! Yay for Baby #2!

Here is a picture of Hailee getting hyped up for the Dodger game. If you can tell she has just removed her shoe, every time we get in the car she takes her shoes off. It is kind of annoying! But doesn't she look cute in her Dodger jersey? We had a great time at the game, even though they lost!! Hailee was really good the whole time, by the end she was even clapping and saying "yay"! Silverwood Lake Trip

Since Scott is on spring break we have a lot of time to spend together. Today, we went to Silverwood Lake and had a great time. We went on a little hike around the lake, had a picnic lunch, and watch some men catch fish. Hailee was having so much fun before she fell, and got some scraps on her hands and forehead. All in all it was a great day! Here are some pictures. Sorry they are blurry, I notice little finger prints on the lens when i got home! Hmmm I wonder who's they are?

Well because it is Scott's Birthday tomorrow I just wanted to give him a little shout out! So happy birthday Scott i love you! Scott will be 25, pretty crazy! All he wanted for his birthday was Dodger tickets so that is what we are going to get. As you can tell by the picture, he is quite the Dodger fan. Anyways, Scott is the best and I am so happy that I am his wife. He is a great husband and father, and a really good student too!! So here is to a great 25th birthday Scotty!

So today I had an eye exam and while I was there I had to fill out this form, you know, your name date of birth ect. When I was done I handed it to the receptionist, she looks at it and then looks back at me and says. "you are 23? I thought you were at least 30!!" Oh my gosh! How rude is that! I did'nt even know what to say! And then as if she has not been rude enough, she finishes with, " I am older than you? I am shocked!" Some people are so rude! So I guess I need botox or something!!

So my mom and I took little miss Hailee to get her first haircut the other day! It was a lot of fun! She never even cried! However, she moved a whole bunch, I am just glad it wasn't me trying to do it!! I am sure I would have butchered it. Here are a few pictures! She is so funny she didn't smile once, but she sure did enjoy that sucker! Anyways, it was a fun day, but I wish her hair would grow on the sides so she doesn't have a mullet (I am not sure how you spell that) anymore! O h well!

So our little Hailee finally has a girl cousin! She has two boy cousins on my side of the family and three on Scott's side! So needless to say we need some more pink in the picture!! My sister Heidi had Kylie Nicole Budge on Jan. 26th and she is such a cutie, we are so excited to have her around!! Hailee didn't get to meet her until she was about a week old, because she had a cold! Here is a picture of when they first met! Hailee thinks her little cousin is pretty cool, and gets pretty concerned when she cries . It's pretty cute!

Anyways, here are a couple other pictures of Hailee at great grandma Booth's house. Grandma got this rocking chair and stuffed animal out for Hailee and we took some pictures! I thought they were pretty sweet.

I thought it would be fun to let you all know how our little family came to be! Scott and I have known each other since high school, I have always had a crush on him and he loves to tell people that! We started dating when he got home from his mission in June 2004. We dated for almost a year and were then married in the LA Temple in may of 2005. Well, approximately a year and four months later Hailee Rae Heaton joined the family!!!!! She was born on Oct. 1 2006 and was 9 lbs. and 19 3/4 in. long. She was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen!!!! That is coming from a mother! Hailee is now 16 months old and is so much fun! Even though she is into everything and is throwing some fits, she still is the most beautiful thing in the world and I love being her mom!! Here is a pretty recent picture of her. Isn't she so cute?!?Anyways, we do want more kids we just have to wait, Scott will be done with school next year, so that will be a good time to have more! I can't wait!
